Dynamic Site Mapping™ (DSM) - The Dynamic Site Optimization UtilityThe wonderful thing about dynamic web pages are they simplify content management, provide personalization features that are hard to replicate with purely static web pages, and overall they streamline website generation. However, until recently, the search engine spiders were unable to index dynamic pages effectively. Fortunately, because of advanced search engine technology, even complex dynamic URLs are appearing in the search engine's results page. But even with the advances in technology, if you want a search engine to index your dynamic pages successfully, it will need the following three basic abilities:
The Dynamic Site Mapping™ module will fulfill these three basic necessities by writing a dynamic site map with spiderable, permanent URLs for every dynamic page you have on your website that has been visited by a human, including the content you have inside forms. How does Dynamic Site Mapping™ (DSM) work?
With Dynamic Site Mapping™, we need to add a few lines of DSM script to each of your dynamic web pages. When a human visitor accesses your dynamic pages, DSM will spider and caches them. The cached dynamic URLs will include all the parameters. If your content happens to be inside a form, DSM will convert all "post" form URLs to "get" form URLs in the process to expose all of the parameters. In order to preserve security, we do not maintain session specific form data. Within DSM, we are able to specify which parameters you want to remove from your dynamic URL to make the URL spiderable. NOTE:It will be necessary for you to add default settings or "If" statements to your code so that your dynamic web page will load without the parameters you want removed.
After our DSM product has spidered your dynamic pages, we can then compile the DSM pages to add to your website. Our DSM pages will look like search engine results and include direct links to your dynamic content using the optimized, spiderable dynamic URLs. We make it very easy for the search engine spiders to follow all of these links to index your dynamic content. Additionally, since DSM records each time that a human visitor accesses your page, we will list the most popular pages on your website first to ensure that the most popular pages on your website get spidered and indexed as soon as possible. Additional Dynamic Site Mapping™ (DSM) FeaturesOur Dynamic Site Mapping™ tool is also able to help your human visitors access your dynamic content. Inside the DSM template is a search engine that will searche DSM's cache of every dynamic page on your website. By adding the DSM script to every page on your site, you can use DSM as a site-wide search tool for all of your dynamic and static content. System Requirements for Dynamic Site Mapping™ (DSM)All that we require you to do is add a line of JavaScript or similar script (asp, php, cgi, etc.) on each web page that you desire to have indexed. Next, add a folder on your root directory that contains the compiled DSM site map pages. DSM is compatible with all scripting languages, including HTML, SHTML, PHP, ASP and more. DSM also works with server side includes (SSI). All server activity will occur on the SEOToolSetTM, so no server side scripts are required. Click Here for a FREE Report or to Request a Proposal.
